A mother of one and pregnant at the time, she jumped at the idea of setting up the first female owned and run accountancy firm in Derry.

She is an ambitious woman committed to changing stereotypes about accountancy. “Accountancy should be fun and exciting because numbers do not lie,” she remarks. Driven by the desire to take the pain out of accounting for individuals and businesses of all sizes, Deborah has a vision to deliver “No nonsense accounting that’s jargon-free and delivered in a relaxed environment”.

Inspired by watching her mother go out to work at a local factory and still manage to raise four children. She wants to set a similar example for her daughter. Professional, warm and welcoming in both her personal and business life, she believes in educating her clients. “Making the right business choice from the outset makes the road a little less bumpy further ahead” she adds.

An exceptionally hands-on professional Charlene often visits clients at their offices to review bookkeeping practises and offer advice on implementing and improving systems.
